Integral LED UGR 19 Advanced Panel
The new Integral LED TPa UGR 19 Advance Panel helps installers to achieve a UGR of less than 19 by utilising skilfully engineered features that minimise light spill, making it easier to control glare in an office or classroom.
Unified Glare Rating (UGR) is an increasingly important metric for installers as an indicative calculation of glare from all light sources in an environment. The aim of UGR is to minimise visual discomfort from misplaced light. Light Guide 7, published by The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), recommends that office environments do not exceed a UGR of 19. For more information about UGR and how it is calculated, see our ‘What is UGR?’ education page here.
The TPa UGR<19 Advance Panel features a long life Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) light guide plate and a micro-prism plate to direct illumination from the light source downward, narrowing the beam angle to 92° rather than the customary 110°. Meanwhile the TPa rated polycarbonate diffuser has been tested by a UK based laboratory and passes BS782-0:2004 Method 508A, as required by Fire Safety regulations.
The UGR<19 Advance Panel comes in 3000K Warm White and 4000K Cool White colour temperature and is available in single units and in a 4-pack to offer even better value. This long life panel is also backed up by a 5 year warranty. See our full range of panels here.
